Sri[ஸ்ரீ] Refers Mahalakshmi. In Tamil We call Sri [ஸ்ரீ] as Thiru [திரு]. Sri is the Other name of Lord Shiva.And Sri also Refers Poison.In the Worship of Devi, Shreem [ஸ்ரீம்] is the Beejakshara [பீஜாக்ஷரம்] of Shree MahaLakshmi,& Lord Shiva. The Shiva Astothram begins with Sri as Sri Shivaya Namaha [ஸ்ரீ சிவாய நமஹ ]. And the Astothram of Divine Mother Lalitha starts with 'Sri Matha' [ஸ்ரீ மாதா],Sri Maharagni [ஸ்ரீ மஹாராக்ணி], Srimath Simhasaneswari[ஸ்ரீமத் ஸிம்ஹாஸநேஸ்வரி].By chanting the Bheejaksharam - Shreem [ஸ்ரீம்] by adding Om[ஓம்] in front as 'Om Shreem'[ஓம் ஸ்ரீம் ] daily, we can get good wealth,health,Mind [thoughts],good situations,people and everything will be good.Faith,Purity & Continuous Practice with Good will is essential.For Good Life,the grace of Mahalakshmi is most important.To attain both 'Bukthi'[புக்தி] & Mukthi [முக்தி] her enormous Grace is Essential.'Bukthi'refers worldly happiness which will be attain in good way, and Mukthi refers Liberation from birth & death cycle,& all sorts of Miseries.To attain both Bukthi & Mukthi, Wisdom is essential.All these will be granted by Divine Mother Mahalakshmi.Mahalakshmi is none other than Lord Shiva. 'Siddhi'- Means Success,Power.. this also granted by Sri Mahalakshmi. Sri Mahalakshmi ashtakam represents this;
