And Aavali Means 'Varisai' in Tamil [ie] Queue.
Deepam + aavali = Deepavali.
Worshipping Lord by arranging Deepam in a queue .
Deepavali is a Festival celebrated even before Krishna avathar.
It is celebrated as 'Kethara Gowri Viratham' ,performed by Goddess Parvathi inorder to marry Lord Shiva.
Note: No Crackers = No Pollution !.
