Today "Panguni Uthram" ;
Lord Murugan Married 'Shree Dheivayanai Ambigai' in this Wonderful day.This is not an ordinary Marriage.It's a divine Marriage.Goddess "Dheiva Yanai" is represented as "Icha Sakthi".Goddess "Dheiva Yanai" grown under the Supervision of "Iravadham" - the Divine Elephant[Dheiva Yanai] of Lord Indhra and hence She got the Name as Dheiva Yanai.Goddess Dheiva yanai is the daughter of Indhra - King of Dhevalogam.As a result of victory of 'Dhevargal' over demon 'Soora Pathuman',Lord Indhra gave his daughter 'Dheiva yanai' to Lord Murugan.
At Previous Birth 'Goddess Dheivayanai' was the daughter of Lord Vishnu and her previous birth name was 'Amudha Valli' and her sister name was 'Sundhara valli'.Both of them originated from the blissful tears of Lord Vishnu when he thinked about Lord Muruga with Great Devotion.Both the Sisters, Amudha Valli and Sundhara Valli did Penance[Tapas] to Marry Lord Muruga.As a Result of the Penance,Lord Murugan Appeared before both the Sisters,He Promised and gave a Boon that he will marry them at their next Birth.At Next Birth Amudha valli took birth as 'Goddess Dheiva yanai' and grown in Dhevalogam.Sundharavalli took birth as Valli and grown as a daughter of a Forest king[Kuravargal]. As per Given Promise and Boon,Lord Murugan Married "Dheiva Yanai" in the Way of Karpu Manam[Arranged Marriage]. And, Married Valli in the way of Kandharva / kalavu Manam[Love Marriage].We should not think Marriage of Lord Murugan as Cheap as Human Does.Human Marriage is due to Ignorance,Desire, and so many Expectations.But Lord Muruga's Marriage is For World Sake,to Give Pleasure and hapiness for all beings both in Worldly Life and Spiritual Life.Goddess Dheiva yanai is the Power[Sakthi] of Lord Murugan to Give "Para Sugam" - Joy/Anandham/Happiness which is due to Liberation/Mukthi/Moksham.Goddess Valli is the Power of Lord Murugan to Give "Iga Sugam"-Success and Happiness in Worldly Life.Every one needs both 'Para Sugam' and 'Iga Sugam'.
Three Sakthis:
'Vel' is Considered as "Gnana Sakthi"Goddess "Valli" is represented as "Kiriya Sakthi".As Mentioned Above,Goddess "Dheiva Yanai" is represented as "Icha Sakthi".
1."Kiriya" Means 'Action'.2."Icha" Means 'Wish'.3."Gnanam" means 'Knowledge'.Murugan is the 'Anandha Swarupam'.
With out these three Sakthis[Powers] nothing will happen in this world.Based on these three Powers all the things are happening.
The Mahima and Keerthi of Lord Muruga could not be expressed in a small page and could not be expressed in words by nobody.
